Provision of Risk Analysis and Risk Managmenet Support
The European Joint Undertaking for ITER and the Development of Fusion Energy ("Fusion for Energy")
The scope of the contract is to:
— Assist Responsible Officers in risk management activities in relation to ongoing procurements and procurements to be launched,
— Assist Project Managers with studies of wider scope and with risk management,
— Assist Project Office with studies of wider scope.
In this respect the contractor shall:
— Assist in risk identification in relation to procurements.
— Collaborate in the evaluation of the impact of the analyses performed with regards to schedule, cost and general strategy.
— Participate in the development of risk mitigation plans.
— Assist the teams in the follow up of risk assessments and mitigation actions, preparation of adequate reporting, simulation and scenario definition.

It should be noted that the present procurement procedure is governed by the rules laid down in the Financial Regulation of Fusion for Energy adopted by the Decision of the Governing Board of 22.10.2007 as last amended on 18.12.2007 and the Implementing Rules of the Financial Regulation adopted by the Decision of the Governing Board of 22.10.2007 as last amended on 1.6.2011.
The official language of Fusion for Energy is English. Documentation provided under Section III.2 shall be in English or accompanied by a translation of the relevant parts. Failure to comply with this requirement may lead to the exclusion of the candidate to the tender procedure.

Tenders can be submitted by groupings of service providers who will not be required to adopt a particular legal form prior to the contract being awarded. However, a grouping of companies must nominate 1 party to be responsible for the receipt and processing of payments for members of the grouping, for administrative management of the service, and for coordingation and safety. Groupings of companies must provide the documents and information required in points III.2.1 and III.2.2(a) for all members of the grouping. The criteria in points III.2.2(b) and III.2.3 apply to the grouping as a whole. Members of the grouping shall be jointly and severally liable.
