Call for tender No PO/2011-34/MAD for electricity supply for the offices of the European Commission Representations and the European Parliament Information Offices in Madrid and Barcelona
Following the liberalisation of the electricity market in the European Union countries, the Representations of the European Commission and the Information Offices of the European Parliament open the market to suppliers for electricity.
The objective of this interinstitutional tender is to supply electricity to the offices in Madrid and Barcelona, Spain.
The electricity power supplied may come from any source including:
— 'green' supply,
— 'brown' supply,
— CHP (combined heat and power).
The European Commission and the European Parliament do have a clear preference for 'green' energy.
