The scope of the contract is for Electrical Power Distribution (EPD) and covers the installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical components (with partial supply) on ITER site in Cadarache (FR). There is also included in the scope of the contract the civil and technical works for the construction, commissioning and maintenance of buildings and trenches. The scope may be divided into two parts: work that is definitely required and options, execution of which may, or may not, be required (for OPTIONS see section II.2.2). Whenever the terms system or systems are used they should be understood as a set of different components linked in order to provide the necessary services for a compliant operation of the facility. The scope of supply includes supply (manufacturing, factory acceptance tests / certification), installation, commissioning together with all supporting documentation (including the as-built documentation) to meet nuclear regulatory authority standards as applicable. The request to be selected to tender shall be placed inside a sealed inner envelope, the inner envelope shall be signed astride the juncture(s) and transparent tape shall be stuck on top of the signature. The inner envelope shall read exactly as follows: “Expression of Interest F4E-OPE-428 - not to be opened by the internal mail services”. The inner envelope shall be placed inside the outer envelope, shall be addressed to the Procurement Officer indicated under section I.1 and shall be marked as follows: “Expression of Interest F4E-OPE-428 - not to be opened by the internal mail services”.
This contract notice has been published also on the Fusion for Energy industry portal website (https://industryportal.f4e.europa.eu).
Economic operators shall be aware that any further communication related to the present call for expressions of interest will only be published on the Fusion for Energy industry portal website, as referenced above. It is therefore strongly suggested to regularly visit the above mentioned website.
By submitting a request to be selected to tender the economic operator agrees that Fusion for Energy may publish on its website a list with the names and addresses of the selected candidates.
