Assessment of global climate change impacts on human health
JRC-IPTS has recently launched the study ‘Assessment of global climate change impacts on human health’, currently ongoing, building a modelling framework for global projections of the impacts of climate change on health focused on temperature (heat and cold) related mortality and diarrhoeal disease (related to temperature exposure). This current contract is meant to complement this first study tackling the other relevant issues, focusing on the following impact categories that will be separated into 4 different lots:
— vector-borne diseases (lot 1),
— heat-related morbidity (lot 2),
— violence and conflict (lot 3),
— water-borne diseases (lot 4).
