Estimation of the costs of work-related injuries, illnesses and deaths at European level: overview about the availability and quality of necessary national and international data sources for a European-level cost calculation
This EU-OSHA project aims to produce an estimation of the costs of work-related injuries, illnesses and deaths at European level. We aim at both a European aggregated estimate and national data on costs of ill-health for each Member State that is comparable across all countries or across groups of countries. In order to achieve this objective, EU-OSHA will take a 2-stage approach. The first stage, which is the subject of this call for tenders, entails production of an overview of the availability and quality of national and international data sources that could be needed for development of a European-level cost calculation.
