This procurement procedure is for the award of up to five framework contracts for the supply of the ITER Blanket Manifolds, including the pre-production qualification for specific items and processes and production of series quantities and spares.
The entire scope is divided in 8 tasks. For each of them the estimated volume is:
• Task 1: Manufacturing of a partial prototype of 6 pipes bundles with all support types (qualification exercise for subsequent tasks 2, and 4) and manufacturing of one inboard inlet bundle and one outboard inlet bundle;
• Task 2: Manufacturing of the remaining inboard and outboard bundles (72 minus the ones from task 1 if it is that are considered by F4E good enough to be installed);
• Task 3: Manufacturing of the chimney pipes for all 18 ports (40 chimney pipes per port);
• Task 4: Manufacturing of the lower port pipes;
• Task 5: Manufacturing of the upper port pipes;
• Task 6: Manufacturing of branch pipes and connectors;
• Task 7: Supply of Helicoflex Seal, Circlips and V- Band flanges;
• Task 8: Supply of all the 316L and 316 L(N)-IG raw material for the BCM system, i.e. approximatively: 11 000 meters of piping (1.5” Sch 10 and 2”Sch 10) and 150 tons of forgings (bars and plates).

The awarded contracts are multiple framework contracts with re-opening of competition. Subsequent re-opening of competition will be based on the maximum ceiling prices per task before set by each contractor. In order not to prejudice the legitimate commercial interests of each of the economic operators and to avoid the distortion fair competition in the implementation of the subsequent specific contracts, the maximum ceiling price per task are not disclosed in sections II.1.7 and V.
