"IMR Campaign (Underwater Inspection and rectification of openings by placing rocks) in the Strait of Gibraltar and Balearic Islands gas pipelines, by means of ROV and DP2 inspection vessel.
Combined IMR (Offshore Inspection Surveys and Freespan Rectification by Rock Placement) in the Strait of Gibraltar and Balearic Oil Pipelines. by using an ROV and a DP2 survey vessel
The objectives of the survey are to establish and document the condition of the pipelines. The survey activities are summarised as follows:
* Conduct an ROV visual inspection of the pipelines and rock dumps. (For SoG pipelines, ROV shall be able to handle strong currents );
* Establish/confirm the position, length and height of free-spans;
* Detect, record and document all areas of damage;
* Detect, identify and document debris adjacent to the pipeline;
* Record and document the condition of the pipeline’s cathodic protection;
* Inspect and document condition of crossings and any associated rock berms;
* Document the seabed / pipeline and seabed / intervention / pipeline configuration;
* Acquire a continuous ROV-based MBES DTM along all pipeline routes
The events listing shall be accompanied by co-ordinates and correlated to the KP databases. In addition to the above survey activities it could be required to carry out light intervention work at locations identified during the survey as wll as rock placement work for freespans rectification.
