Assessment of climate impacts on coastal systems in Europe (European Commission, JRC, Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS))
The main objectives of this study are threefold. Firstly, to develop a methodology to carry out a bottom-up, highly disaggregated assessment of climate impacts on coastal areas in Europe in view of global warming. Secondly, to test and validate the methodology for a number of representative coastal segments across the EU.
