The European Joint Undertaking for ITER and the Development of Fusion Energy ('Fusion for Energy')

The scope of the supply is to provide a service activity on irradiation and post-irradiation characterisation of materials and joints including the characterisation of non-irradiated materials (reference tests) to compare the data. This supply concerns the irradiation and testing at the level of material specimens. Transport services of irradiated material specimens between facilities shall also be included if applicable.
Testing of larger scale components, mock-ups or sub-assemblies shall be excluded from this contract.
Technical requirements are laid down in Annex B, while management and quality assurance requirements are laid down in Annex A, both available from the buyer's profile website.
The framework contracts will be implemented by specific contracts for self-standing activities.
