The purpose of this Call for Tenders is to conclude three framework contracts (one per lot):
— Lot 1 "Medical Centre": provision of services of a medical centre for mainly pre-recruitment tests, annual checks and health screening checks.
— Lot 2 "Medical Advice": provision of services of a medical advisor for Fusion for Energy providing advice on occupational health issues. Furthermore, the medical advice shall provide support to the Staff on various medical issues.
— Lot 3 "Medical Controller": provision of medical services of the management and control of absences and sick leaves of the Staff in accordance with the regulations.

Lot 3 — Medical controller: Fusion for Energy intends to conclude a FWC with a company implementing tasks of control and absences management (hereby referred to also as the “Medical Controller”) to fulfil Fusion forEnergy's obligation in this field. This includes amongst others: Ensure that the absences of staff are justified and that the duration of the absences are in proportion to the nature of the illness by undergoing medical examinations, perform the necessary absences controls (in Barcelona, Garching, Cadarache and other locations as required), provide to F4E advice on strategies to facilitate a return to work Inform in a timely manner the responsible service at Fusion for Energy of all sick leaves; In line with the policy on absence management,share good practices for everyday absence management; Implement the tasks associated to absences and sickness management in line with the regulations in force at Fusion for Energy; Provide technical analysis and medical advice in the field of control of absences to the HR unit; Regularly provide statistical data and draft monthly and annual analytical reports on absences; Act as a Doctor responsible for the control of absences with relation to the required Medical Committees and represent Fusion for Energy in Committees, if requested. It may also include other additional services directly connected with the implementation of the contract.
