These contracts are intended to be used for testing tungsten Mock ups prototypes, Mock ups and for tests during the design and qualification phase of the First Wall Series contract. The last planned mock up to test is likely to be in 2032. The rationale behind the extended duration is essentially based on the need to ensure continuity between the successive testing and to guarantee homogeneity in the test results during the required period of testing. However, F4E maintains the right not to extend the initial 4 year period up to the maximum of 8 years and for example, to launch a new procurement procedure. This flexibility is provided to accommodate possible changes of circumstance affecting this objective or changes related to the market situation.

The body responsible for hearing annulment procedures is indicated in section 8.1 ORG-0002 of this contract notice.
