Final design will incorporate lessons learnt from the previous phase of prototyping into a mature and complete design, ending in the formal Final Design Review (FDR) for the MS subsystem.

-The cost impact of this deviation amounts to EUR 333,114.30. The total value of the contract has been increased to EUR 2,069,516.87.
- The following main technical changes have been introduced: 1) inclusion of additional testing by SERAPID of the PCS prototype developed under To4 (WBS 05.01.04.04); 2) inclusion of additional pre-commissioning of the tribology test setups (WBS 02.01.03); 3) expansion of the list of design improvements required on the Mobile Assembly (WBS 05.01.02); 4) expansion of the list of design improvements required on the Cartridge (WBS 05.01.03). In view of this augmented scope, a couple of big deliverables have been split into smaller ones, permitting a more accurate monitoring of the progress made. This deviation also provides an opportunity for scope clarifications and minor changes.
